9mm or 45

I looked the other day, being the owner of 3 .45's my self, ammo for premium is at ~$12.25 here for 50 rounds. It's getting pretty expensive to own any firearm.

Back on topic, if you can play your shots well enough, the .45 is for you, lots of power and a bit of recoil. If you want quick shots then the 9 millimeter will do the job.

Good. The more expensive it is to buy a gun, the better. This way, the criminals or criminals-to-be cannot afford it. Instead they'll buy a bat and I'll blow them away with my AR15.

50 cal sniper. you need it.
but seriously, get the 45 if you want protection. that'll fuck somebody up (I voted 9 for gangsta status)

Lol, Kimber to Tauras Millenium is like comparing a Lambo to a Pontiac Sunfire.

Tauras revolvers are nice and worthwhile, but their automatics are lacking in product design and refinement, will it work? sure it it will, so does a saturday night special. If this is your first handgun I'd go with a 9mm. I really hope you are intending on taking a concealed carry class, it will educate and open your eyes on a lot of things(sorry if you already said you are)

A gun is a good investment, they keep going up in price, buy a good one, wait and save your money if you have to. I absolutely love Sig Saur, the P229 is a double stack 9mm, P239 is a single stack, its a bit smaller gun if thats what you're going for. You can never go wrong with a glock, their felt recoil is better than 90% of the handguns out there, and they are incredibly reliable, that tauras doesn't win any reliablity contests in my book.

definetly the .45, a 9mm is more of a purse gun for girls. I have heard from a police about a 9mm literally bouncing off of a car's windshield. and my dad carries a .45 and I've shot it through 1/2 thick stainless steel before.

Lets debunk this a bit.

"A purse gun for girls". You don't know anything about guns.

You heard from "A police" about a 9mm bouncing off a car's windshield. if it was fired at a nearly parallel angle with the windshield, sure it could happen. If you hit it straight on, its going to go through, I've extensively tested the 9mm on 1/2" bullet resistant lexan, it goes through, it can go through safety glass. Cops are not geniuses, nor are they always truthful, don't believe everything "you've heard"

You didn't shoot your dad's .45 through 1/2" stainless steel, its a caliber designed for soft fleshy targets, not armor plate. There is no way it will go through that.

LIES
my old 9mm beretta was no purse gun

teh caliber of a weapon does not determine who uses it
9mm can tear through glass
.45s cannot tear through .50" steel
will not happen
go be a fucktard somewhere else

and deadly lep

Normally i would say a .45 but with a pistol that small i'd say 9mm.
Taurus makes good guns, for all of you calling it gay.
I voted space pirates btw.
