A BMW in a lower income area?

I might be getting a 2005 BMW X5 for my 16th birthday. But I'm afraid that If I drive it to my high school, it will get F**cked. My family is rather wealthy and everyone in this area hates us for it, I'm afraid that some of the other kids will like, key my car. So, my question is, Do you think that people would do it? And/Or what insurance would cover this?
 
If your family is wealthy, what are you doing living in a low income area? Something doesn't add up here...
