Current atheists, need not apply. This is a serious question.
We can have fun on some other question.
Respect and courtesy, please. This one is for my kid, so watch your mouth.
I'll bump you if you try.
I'm watching.

1. Abiogenesis. For such a simple event, it's amazing how we still haven't come close to creating life. We have our ideas of how it all happened, but for some reason nothing materializes. Not even close.
2. I saw that Atheists were starting to act like religious fanatics. Ascerting that their beliefs were fact, even though they aren't. Some even started handing out pamphlets and started churches of Atheism. One reason I was an Atheist is because I was happy not being associated with fanatics.
3. The more I studied science, the more I realized we didn't know. For instance, our own brains. Most brain surgery is truly barbaric. Honestly, we have hardly a clue about how our own brain works. If we can't scientifically understand ourselves, how can we understand something as complicated as a God?
4. Every month is seems like I come across more proof behind the Bible. In the past 20 years, despite past doubts and criticism, we have proven that Pontius Pilate, King David, King Nebuchadnezzer and his amazing "floating" gardens all existed. We have found architecture that proved that Samson's story (the two pillars story) was plausible. Before that, people said that no culture ever made buildings dependent on two pillars. We have also proven that the Exodus did happen. The only thing is that it appears to have been over a longer period of time, not all the Hebrews migrated at the same time.
5. Going scuba diving in Costa Rica makes it so hard to believe that the fish in the sea were just something that happened. Especially if you ever see an octopus camouflaged. It's beautiful and amazing.
6. I looked at the past scientific theories and saw how they were practically considered fact in those times, but now are plain ol' silly. For example, Atheists used to base evolution off of a simple experiment. Put dung on the ground, eventually dung beetles come out of it. There you go, a solid theory at that time. Now, laughable.
7. After meeting a few sociopaths, I now understand Satan.

Look at the world around you its way to complex for their not to be a god. Their has to be some meaning to life also other than to just have sex and reproduce. A couple of my atheist friends try to convince me all the time lol.

When I was an unbeliever, I was feeling hopeless, without love, or any happiness at all. It did not matter what I did, I could not be filled and satisfied. When I was born again, I felt the living God inside of me. I felt hope, comfort, love, filled, satisfied, and with a purpose. God has saved me from many things in which I am most thankful for. I have prayed for things I needed and at times, God answered immediately while others take awhile. It was other Christians who preached to me and I have never been the same.

Don't let the atheists get to you.

I am a Christian who was an atheist. The short story is that I actually did what atheists claim to always do: I thought for myself. Eventually, those thoughts led me to Christ.

I will answer this and think what you want. Evil is what brought me around to believing. I am not talking mean people or anything as such. God knows I worked with a bunch of them in the prison system.
I am talking about evil that is darker than the dark of night and powerfully evil. The thing nightmares are made of and something that I believed in as little as I did God.
O.k. Just say it - I was SCARED into believing...If that evil was real then the other side to the story had to be also.
enough said...

I found out that the educational system is purposely lying about evolution. There are many programs that explain how they do it. One of them is Creation Series, Dr. Baugh, Worldview Weekend, Creationontheweb, and evolutiondeceit.com. Scientists are shut out (like in the global warminig controversy) because there is an agenda by the illuminati to have a new world order with no religion.

Once I discovered the lie, I went back to church and have never regretted it. My biggest regret was the loss of those years when I totally rejected Christianity. I made my apologies to God already.
