A chunk of meat came out while I was on my period?

I was taking a shower on my 3rd day of my period and while I was cleaning around the area, I felt something hard underneath. I took a closer look and rinsed it with water and it looked like a piece of meat. ( it looked exactly like a raw chicken heart cut in half) I'm feeling fine but I'm just curious what it was. It wasn't slimy or anything like blood clots. anyone.help??
