I am planing on taking a trip to Japan with a friend sometime in the near future. I was wondering what time would be the best time (month) to take this trip. Also, how much money would be required to spend a week in Japan. Airline tickets will be free for us so that will be sweet. We are hoping to spend most of our time in Tokyo, but we are wondering what cities in Japan have the most affordable hotels. These questions are aimed at people who actually traveled to Japan before. Any other information and tips would be much appreciated.
