A lib suggested that I work for Taco Bell?

He said it as if it was something to be ashamed of. I did work at Taco Bell. I started the day after I turned 15, worked there 3 years and I am proud of it. Why would you look down your nose at someone who works for a living?

Get a job and buy yourself a taco.
15. I put my birth year as 83 and no one ever said a word about it. I was excited to work! A teenager I knew as a kid worked there. She saved a boys life who drowned at a local pool and I really looked up to her, wanted to be just like her.She still works there as a regional manager.

One person doesn't represent every liberal.

@ Rayne Storm what a retarded thing to say. If people look down on jobs at Taco Bell they probably never collected welfare.

Apparently, fast food jobs are 'beneath them', but they have no problem getting welfare...Disgusting

I have respect for ANYONE who works for a living (as long as it's legal), as opposed to people who refuse to.

My first job (at 15) was cleaning and remodeling a Signode factory cafeteria, break room and storage room...That lasted for 6 months, then I turned 16 and went to work at Ponderosa...I have worked many places since that time (it turns out that I am best suited for construction, I LOVE to build things), but I always had a job until I was 4 months pregnant (I was in construction then, so I had to quit, I could have kept working if I had an office job), and I let my husband support us after that...My job then was taking care of my kids.

@Starshine: You don't know very many people in real-life do you?...I have helped MANY people get off of welfare and take control of their lives, so that they wouldn't be dependent on the government or anyone else...I have had many successes but there have also been failures...The failures were ALL people who simply refused to work, said they were 'comfortable' on welfare, and those who said things like "I aint flippin' no burgers, or cleanin' toilets"...Perhaps if liberals had more real-life experience, they would understand the world a little better

Oh my God! All liberals must think the same way! And those scary people on TV who wave yellow rattlesnake flags are actually very sweet and kind hearted. Oh wait. They aren't.
