Hi everyone, I need your help! Okay, so I'm really interested in writing a series of novels that focus on two characters - one of them being male. Now, for the most part, I would like to have this character nicknamed "Perri" (and yes, spelled that way because I prefer the "i" more than the "y"), but I'm having a hard time coming up with a good name for him. He's supposed to be a character with a very influential background (aka, royalty), and I keep coming across the name Percival - which is cool, but for those of us who are familiar with the "Percy Jackson" character, I think it's a little too close to his name. What do you think? I mean, in all honesty, it'll take me a while to write this thing since I've got a job to hunt down, bills to pay, student loans to pay off, and well, life goes on...but writing is definitely my career choice and so I figured "start a story now and work on it as time goes by"...anywho. So yes, I would appreciate any and all thoughts about the name and if there are any better suggestions out there. The 'Perri' thing is a definite because I'm rather fond of that name and I asked for a sign from the big-guy-upstairs if the name was right and along comes this truck that passes me by just as I asked if I was choosing the right name and guess what name was on it? So yeah, it's a definite nickname - just can't figure out the true name part. Thanks a bunch!
