When the price for a color television is 380 dollars , the average monthly sales for this item at a department store is 540 . For each 10 dollar increase in price, the average monthly sales fall by 30 units. What is the average monthly sales if the price is 430 dollar per color television?

$430 - 380 = $50
= 5×$10

Decrease in sales = 5×30
= 150 units

Average sales = 540-150
= 390 units
 
430 - 380 = 50 dollars
each 10 dolllar increase lessen sale by 30
5 x 30 = 150
540 - 150 = 390 units ave. monthly sale.
