a rant: facebook, what's the point?

if I was not appreciated though familiar faces know me, more reason to see that it is just as worse when you see how much fun they are having without you! who understand me? at least on myspace, there are potential talents who wants so badly to be discovered to get your attention. so how could I do away with the chosen ones on my facebook page?!
Okay lady bookworm, I think I know what I am asking. So I don't have to elaborate any further... a minus for you!
