A vacation to legoland, California with 6 children. Has anyone ever been there?

My husband and I are planning a trip to legoland with our 8 children. My 2 step-daughters are coming along and helping and they are 18 & 17. We are going there over the summer. Were not sure if we are going to take our newborn son Joey yet or not, but we are defiantly taking the middle 5. Their ages are below.
Mady 18 (Step-daughter)
Bre 17 (Step-daughter)
Caleb is 8
Isabella is 7
Claire is 5
Sophia is 3
Sierra is 3
Joey is 2 weeks old (He will be 5 months when we go, if we bring him)

So we need help and ideas to make sure this will be a fun and safe vacation! So if you have been there or know someone who has, could you please give me some tips.

We are also buying them new bathing suits, and I have found some really cute ones for my kids. So I would also like to hear your opinion on them!

My daughter and grand visited my sons family last year and they all went. It was amazing. That was 4 kids 10, 4 and 2y/o twins.
My grand daughter has been to lots of theme parks as we live in Florida near Disney, Universal, Sea World, MGM, Busch Gardens, etc. She thought Lego Land was one of the best kid parks ever. Even the parents have a great time. I wouldn't take the baby only because you will be restricted but other than that, enjoy!
Swim suits are cute too.
