A window keeps popping up with a message, what does it mean?

It says:

"Synaptics TouchPad Enhancements has stopped working.

A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available."

It's popped up everyday for about 4 days now. What is it and how can I fix it?
