should start of with saying that my sister has phlebitis in left foot and constant swelling in her right (edema). Also, she hasnt had a solid bowel in 11 days. That may be unrelated to the following problem, but maybe worth mentioning. She just flew in to visit me and noticed that in her right arm, there was a vein that was sore that went all the way up her arm, and was bluer than the rest. she went to bed and woke up this morning with 3 cloudy purple bruises up her arm in different spots. She mentioned on the plane that the higher the elevation her arm throbbed slightly, was painful and was a little difficult to move her wrist.
