About my cichlids again?

One of the decorations in my tank has this weird stuff on it... is it algae? Old food? Should I remove it? And if so, how should I get rid of it without stressing the fish? It is transparent and looks like it would fall apart easily.

It's orange and yes it is fuzzy

It didn't show up........
what color is it? Algae is green
If it's white fuzzy it's left over food....feed less.
