about T-Mobile Data plans?

I recently got the 2GB T-Mobile Data plan for my android, I was wondering, does Data usage reset every month, or once you hit 2GB that's it, you're done.
Is my network only allowed 2GB for it's entire life? Or does the usage reset every month?
 
It reset every month but if you get pass 2gb for the month, you data speed will slow down.
