I was prescribed this drug to take for 1 week twice a day. my doctor told me that since it can be very hard on your stomach to take it with a meal.
I just looked it up on drugs.com and it says to take it at least 1-2 hours before eating. It specifically states to take it on an empty stomach. Which is correct? I know generally you should listen to what your doctor tells you, but there's a possibility she made a mistake when she said it.
Also, drugs.com says not to chew it because breaking it will release too much of the drug at once.. I did not do it on purpose (I wouldn't because it tastes absolutely disgusting if you've ever had to take it), but I just bit into it by accident. What can happen?
