I changed the suspension leg on my Volkswagen polo 2008 tdi. Never had a problem with this light before. After changing the leg the light came on. I put the original ABS sensor off my old leg which was working fine onto the new leg. ABS light still on. Any ideas? The new leg was off a polo that had a rear bump and was broken for parts.

I assume you used the ABS sensor on the new leg before changing back to your old ABS sensor? If the new sensor was faulty it would of stored a fault code in the ABS control module memory. The light will not go out now until the fault is cleared from the memory even if there are no faults currently in the system.

You need to disconnect the earth lead from the car battery for a few minutes. This will reset the ABS system memory and take the warning lamp off.
