Is the formula for calculating watts for DC the same as for AC (Volts x amps = watts)?
I'm trying to figure out the details of a solar system. There is a company selling controllers that are rated for either 10 amps, 20 amps or 30 amps 12/24 volt DC. At 30 amps 12 volt DC you would only be getting 360 watts right?
