Age for a driving permit?

Hey guys I'm 17 1/2 already, can I just got take a driving permit test without a pink or white slip?
 
That depends on the state your living in. You need to contact your licensing authority with that question. In some states you could be as young as 14 to drive under a farm to market license. However; in some states you need to be 18 without drivers education. But, as a general rule, 17 with Drivers Education and parental consent.
