AHH! strep throat/vacation.!heeelp!?

Okay so on Wednesday I went to the doctors and they told me i had strep throat, and i was running a really high fever all day that day from the morning( school starts at around seven an I wake up at 6:00 am). I am going somewhere w/my friends for spring break and Im wondering if ill feel better by then,(i'm already feeling better,walking around, sitting on the computer for a long time, etc) but i still have a reaally sore htroat and a bad cough, when will this go away!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!?
 
Are you on antibiotics? If you are I would say you will be as good as new in about a week to week 1/2 from when you started them.
