I'm mainly interested in Cryptolinguistics (1n3), but if I don't score high enough on the ASVAB and DLAB, I was thinking about starting in another intel job and perhaps crosstraining at a later date. I have two questions:
1) Is it easier to crosstrain into a job within the same field? For example, would I be more likely to be able to get 1n3 if I began as 1n0, or does it not matter -- would I be equally likely to get 1n3 from, say, 1c5?
2) I'm attempting to rank my job preferences within Intel. Which order would YOU put them in, according to which you think is more exciting, more career oriented, or more whatever -- list your preference order and let me know why you chose that order!
