alfa romeo 156 selespeed...plz heip?

while driving my alfa romeo 156 selepeed (automatic) the engine cut out,i pulled up and then tryed to start it and there was nothing there at all..any ideas :( ive only had the car 2 wks never had a automatic b4
 
Check the battery terminals are tight. This is the most likely cause if you have total power failure.
 
by nothing at all do you mean it wouldnt even turn over? or did it turn but not fire? gotta be more specific.
