All sorts of old video tapes, want to transfer to dvd's!!!?

I have all sorts of different types of video tapes, some are super old school and some are newer. Is there one machine that can convert all types of tapes and put it on a dvd?

Most professional VHS tapes have copy protection on them an a dvd recorder will shut off once it gets the signal. There's some machines you can buy but they are a bit sketchy and I wouldn't take a chance on them. If you have home videos you can get a dvd recorder and feed the videos through the inputs on the recorder, playing the original in the vcr, or camcorder or whatever machine is right for the format you're using.

There's no "magic" machine that can take all formats and convert them. You're going to need VCR's, camcorders, a DVR or PC with a decent hard drive.

Basically you need a separate component for each video type you have. Good luck.
