> ASUS Laptop with Windows 7

Alright... sometime around the 1st of July, not sure when, but my ALT Key on my plugged in keyboard just stopped working. The laptop keyboard itself never suffered any damages and works perfectly fine.

I just thought it was because something was dropped on my keyboard around that time and busted off the supporting feet.

The ALT key on the laptop keyboard works, but not on my plugged keyboard, so I just recently went and bought a brand new one (same keyboard model).

The ALT key won't work on this new keyboard either.

I don't know what to do. I'm not sure if there's some setting somewhere that got changed, if it's a driver issue (the drivers installed fresh upon plugging in the new keyboard), or if it has something to do with the on-screen keyboard, since I have used that recently.
