^^I reckon there's a limit in sending messages (a fixed number of messages for an hour, then you'd have to wait for some time before you could send another message)

No, but then how does one cultivate e-fame. Nobody cares too much about you unless you horde things and hand them out sparingly. Be they membership invites, files, or passwords. This isn't so unusual, and I think it's best to stick with open torrent sites if you want to avoid these situations. If you're (un)lucky the hoarder will do a dramatic flounce after chastising everyone for begging. So swallow your pride/waste your time and beg, or wait for someone to beg for you and share.

I like how she claims she wants to support indie devs by waiting a month until sharing but then goes and requests a freshly released game. (not to mention that one is crazy cheap too)
