Am I being oversensitive to bf expressing casual interest in other girls?

We can together in public and if there's a hot girl he'll comment and look at her a bit. He doesn't do anything more and I know he won't cheat but it just irritates me. Am I being too sensitive? I've brought this up to him before but he says its just for the aesthetics, and if there's a hot guy he'd tell me about it (I don't really check other guys out when I'm seeing someone. Not just cos I'm uptight but when I like someone I don't see anyone else...).

I try to ignore it cos sometimes he can be abit insensitive but if he does this at the wrong time it makes me feel like shit. Doesn't help that the girls he checks out have better figures than skinny, moderately pretty me =(
 
if he is lookin at hot girls and is agnologing them and is still with you, you don't need to worry because he likes you if he is with you still. so don't worry and just think of it as he is taking you over some hot girls. if he is just looking at them then it is normal. guys are pervs. he has a relationship with you and you say that you are pretty, which means you better than that since girls always underestimate themselves. don't worry if he really likes you then he will stay with you.
 
Most guys eye up other hot girls - some like yr boyfriend, even when they are with their girl/f...but most are discreet and do it quietly.
It`s a natural thing for boys to do really.

Yes, it is crass and insensitive (for the girl/f). Your guy needs to mature a bit I think, and learn what it is to be a `gentleman` - or is that an old-fashioned dirty-word these days?

Don't take this so seriously...or it will push him away from you. TRUST me on this one.
