Am I missing out

Yeah, I go to FSU and plenty of people fail out for the same reasons.

I didn't try drinking until I got to college, I don't really regret having not done it in high school. Give it a shot in college and see how you like it. I enjoyed it and will do so again. Whatever you do, regardless which drug, know what you're doing, be smart about it, be safe.

you do pot once you're hooked for life, and several weeks after beginning you move onto heavier things like meth

Try getting completely shitfaced once a week for a month, then figure out if you like it or not.

ok man.. here it is... i am an avid highschool drinker...i have smoked pot and done other drugs but i am really not a fan any longer... Jeff dont call bullshit cause ill hit ya!!!... but drinking is really quite fun.. Dont let it take over your life and bull but i mean drinking on the weekends is one of the greatest past times. Some of my most memorable highschool memories are that of a really drunk time... i advise you to drink at least a couple times before you get out of school... cause u might regret it w.e.... just be smart abou ti

As long as you are being social I wouldnt say that you HAVE to be drunk or high.

I drink at parties, it loosens you up a bit and can make a shitty party seem mediocre.

Do what you're comfortable with.

With that being said, I am fond of the use of particular drugs. I find them very enjoyable, as well as amazing experiences (some more so than others).

There is nothing wrong with a little bit of drinking. Its when you take these things too far that you start problems. Are you missing out? Of course you are. Being a bit tipsy is a fun feeling and you might do something that you wouldn't do sober, which can be good or bad. Sometimes a little bit of alcohol is a huge confidence booster for me because I was a shy person almost my entire life. However, a little bit of drinking can always accidentally lead to more drinking and you can do some stupid things.

This is where you come in. Are you mature enough to have some self control? Can you go to a party and only have a few beers without getting out of hand? Most people can't, so keep that in mind.

Pot is a completely different animal. I don't smoke at all and I won't until it's legalized, if that ever happens. I have to take drug tests for jobs and I also have seen good people get really unlucky with pot and fuck up their lives. For me, the risks outweigh the benefits. Is a weekend high worth taking a chance at getting in serious trouble with the police and my university? Not for me. More people get away with it than people who get caught, but that doesn't change my mind.

Meh if ya don't want to drink or smoke then don't, your not missing out on shit. Getting wasted/high is fun, thats why people do it, if your curious about it try it.

IMHO you are missing out, but its just a different lifestyle.

im going onto my third year of college soon and I smoke and drink everyday. its just a part of my week.

im just a partier.

as long as you are happy and having a good time in life right now, you are not missing out. I am the same way, because i dont want my body to be affected, and I have seen people do some stupid stuff haha. Whatever floats your boat.

Try drinking, don't do drugs though, that shit is very very expensive+dangerous. Drinking has its dangers, but nothing close to drugs.

Edit-Don't drink and drive, just crash at someones house.

Honestly I would say you are missing out. Drinking is pretty fun but I used to do it every weekend, really drunk and after a while I just felt like shit. I started smoking and now I dont really drink. Smoking to me is amazing, its something you should try at least once (but actually smoke and get high). A lot of my high school years iv have been drunk or stoned and they have all been amazing times, I have had some of the best memories while drunk or stoned. Stoned more but ya.

Why dont you just try it. You're not going to get addicted so whats the harm? Trying it once with your friends to have a good time, and if you dont like it then at least you have tried it.

I'm not missing anything now that I don't drink anymore. I don't miss it at all, I still have a lot of fun, go out to parties, hand out with the same people etc. Most kids who say drinking is the greatest thing in the world are only saying that due to the allure of doing something illegal and making themselves feel like a bad ass.
