Hello!
Last year I hiked the Juan de Fuca Marine Trail by myself (solo) over a period of 3 days with no problems. I have all of the apropriate gear and feel physicaly able to do this hike. I walk every day (to and from work) and visit the gym regularly... physical is not going to be a problem.
Over the past year I have done many day trips with others (Mount Benedict, Mount Laughington, Veeder Mountain etc.), also with no problems. When I was younger (probably 10 years ago) I camped overnight regularly with others.
So.... with the experience listed above do you think I am ready for the physical challenges that lay ahead at the WCT? I plan to do it solo this August.
I am looking for feedback from those that have done the WCT before.
Thanks in advance.
