Am I the only one who thinks Judaism has monopolized an anti criticism taboo?

I mean we impugn, criticize and ridicule Christianity and Islam customarily without any regret and there is generally no deprecation of doing that

But Judaism as a religion (not Jews since that would be antisemitism) is seldom subject to criticism within the general population and criticizing it has become some sort of taboo.

And this is THE religion of the old testament

It probably has something to do with them getting bullied all the time. I mean, look at the examples:

1) Egypt enslaves the Hebrews
2) The Philistines war with the Israelites
3) Israel fell to outside conquerors
4) Judah fell to the Babylonians and was exiled for 70 years
5) The Romans control the Jews and eventually destroy their temple
6) They are criticized by many Christian theologians for not accepting Christ as their savior
7) They are slaughtered by the Nazis
8) They are persecuted today by Islamic forces in the Middle East

Basically, the world has not been kind to the Jewish people. I would say we see this now though because we have been trying to make up for it ever since 1947.

No, you are not the only one; I've noticed that, too.

>>And this is THE religion of the old testament<<

Exactly. Judaism is the religion of stoning disobedient children, gay people, non-virgins, etc., not Christianity.

Until they start trying to impose their religious priorities on us or proselytize like the christians, I have no problem with them.
