Am I wrong to expect my future wife to not quit her job to raise the baby ?

I do make good money but she has a great job too that she worked hard for . But she wants to leave all that to raise the baby. Keeping her job would bring security to the family and less pressure on me money wise plus retirement will be sooner and more lucrative in savings. If she leave her job her, position isn't guaranteed if she takes a 1 or 2 years off. So am I wrong to expect my future wife to not quit her job to raise the baby ?
