American Downfall Rumors?

Can somebody please answer my question, I heard that Russia or some other country said that the United States is going to be one of the worst countries to be in, in a few years because all great countries will have a downfall eventually. Will this really happen?
It is starting to really freak me out
 
other countries might have ulterior motives to put out a statement like this

some guy in russia predicts the break up of the U.S. into 4 or 5 parts in 2010 or 2011 due to economy and civil war
 
i dont know what to tell you. i dont want to scare you, but the economy is in really bad shape. maybe everything will be ok, im freaked out too. if things get bad always remember that you are an American, you are strong and you are FREE and that is all that really matters..
 
It is true that things can go really bad...
but they are just things..
family, values, freedom is all that really matters
prepare for the worst....and hope for the best
