Amp Gain, Sub Sonic, & Crossover Settings on my amp. Wat should I adjust these to?

I have a 12" Alpine SWR - 1242D (Alpine Type R) w/ a MTX JackHammer 600 amplifier pushing it. Amp is 1200W / 600RMS. I need to know where to adjust my amp settings for best sound/performance???
