Ok this may sound more like a rant than a question but after what i learned today and heard i had to ask some questions about it. Im getting the htc incredible really soon and "supposedly" its to be at the top of the android smartphone heap, even rivaling the iphone 4 now they're saying 2 maybe 3 more smartphones are due out at the end of this year with 1.5 even 2 ghz processors that will put recent releases like the x and dinc at the bottom. is it wrong to be feeling like right when im about to buy the best of the best google makes more to make mine supposedly obsolete and even the new system updates require 1 ghz processors which the dinc has but i feel like future updates from google will be incompatible with my phone even though it was just released this year how is that. But anyway the question..
1. android 3.0 or gingerbread is supposed to be the end of the 3rd party ui's is this true, the reason i want an htc phone is because i want htc sense and all the features and interface that comes with it why would i want an upgrade that gets rid of that, thats the whole point im getting an htc phone and
2. the supposed htc scorpion or whichever is supposed to come with 3.0 and can root ive heard of a new app called easy root that can root your phone for you with one click, is rooting something i should do, what am i missing without it cant i just do the same with an ota official update. yes the question is long but this new info doesnt really seem fair to people who pay 200 for a phone that could be obsolete next year and any info is appreciated
