You probably know it: There's a pot of gold on a SQUARE island surrounded by a chasm 10 metres wide and of INFINITE DEPTH (that means you cannot pole vault), how do YOU get across to the pot of gold AND BACK WITH IT? I've seen the answer that you lay the poles on the corners but that doesn't tell me how you get to the island and back carrying the post of gold. Pole vaulting is not the answers
