What kind of jobs can I get with a 4 year Bachelor of Science in Nutrition (Didactics program in Dietetics) when I get out of college?
I do not want to do the extra year internship or become an R.D.
What career opportunities are there for me then? Is there many..? What are their job titles? How about overseas (in countries as New Zealand, Australia, UK, etc. I am referring to)? When I get out of college?
The thing is I would love learning about Nutrition/dietetics in college, but do not particularly want to do an internship because that would only let me become accredited in the U.S. as a dietician, as I want to work abroad. Besides, I do not have particular inclination to working in a hospital or with people with eating disorders or medical conditions, nor in clinics diagnosing or prescribing people, I think I would have a problem with this.
I am more interested in the wellness aspect of it, perhaps promotion or education of it, and would be interested in working in settings like: spas, gyms more like wellness centers, businesses/companies/firms, writing articles, restaraunts/cafes. I want people to enjoy their life but have a healthy lifestyle as well, or have healthy foods be there more accessible and help them in that way
