Any electricians out there that know about wattage use?

Can using a kitchen stove and two house fans cause the wattage to go from 380 up to 1010 and then up to 1530?? This is month to month use.
It's propane fuel with an electric lighter.

In october I was using 3 electric space heaters and my wattage use was only 700. When I got the bill for that I removed all space heaters and just used my kitchen stove because my main heater was broken.

After removing and using only my kitchen stove for heat my wattage went up to 1010 and the next month 1530.
I don't see how a propane kitchen stove can cause such a drastic change in wattage use.

Also can a faulty thermometer switch on the main heater cause such high use? The main heater is propane with a blower on bottom and intake fan at the top. When the thermometer started to go the thing clicked like crazy as if it couldn't make up it's mind whether to turn on or not. Then when it did turn on it only stayed on for a few seconds. That's why I started using my kitchen stove.

Now my main heater is working again and I'm back to using that with a house fan to blow heat into the kitchen area. I haven't received a bill yet since it was repaired so I don't know if the thermometer was the problem all this time or not.

I have never had any problems with high bills before. Usually $30 a month and $55 in winter. Now It's $150 and I'm on a fixed income.
Please help?
