Hi guys, I just thought i'd see if there are any people out there who could give me some advice... I go to the gym 3 to 4 times a week doing aerobic activity & muscle toning on the equipment there for my arms, legs & stomach mainly (no running machine or crosstrainer - only machines for arms, legs & abs plus steps in between each machine).
After my first 6 weeks I lost 1.5inches from my waist which is great but unfortunately lost nothing from any other part of my body (legs, arms, hips) which is where my worst areas are. I don't have a huge amount to lose but I am mainly trying to reduce the size of my inner thighs and get rid of the love handle area.
My diet is healthy; low fat, low carbs, lots of protein (eggs, chicken, veg etc) & water. I have only been doing the gym properly for just over 2 months so my question is... am I just being impatient and do I need to give it more time to see benefits to my other areas (maybe my waist is just the start) and hope that the fat on my legs etc starts to shift or could I speed up the process by adding something else into my weekly regime? Maybe going on a cross trainer, extra exercises on a gym ball, or taking up a hard aerobics class each week aswell? Main thing im trying to lose is the stubborn love handle and top of my leg area fat, but I know I cant spot reduce...
