any good over counter dog shampoos, my dog rubs and whines and scratches?

he,s a toy fox terrier i treated him w/flea treatment and went to vet, they recommend a 30.00 shampoo w/benadryl in it

That stuff works wonders. My cousin has a Cocker Spaniel who has really dry skin and they bought something like what you mentioned and it has stopped the dry skin. The stuff they buy comes in a good size bottle and doesn't take much to get a good lather on the dog.

I would buy it. Well worth it.
