I'm a psychology student and I need to write a research paper on a DSM-IV diagnosis. In the paper, I need to include symptoms, associated features, etiology and treatment approaches. Any ideas/interesting topics will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

check into tiger ridge, ga. that'll give you plenty to write about

I did a treatment manual one time for Selective Mutism. It was pretty interesting although not a separate diagnosis in the DSM-IV, but it stems from social anxiety. You could also try Trichotillomania. It's where a person constantly pulls out their hair. There's a lot of factors that contribute and/or stem from that: anxiety, ocd, etc.
