It's a 6 cylinder, 4 liter fuel injected engine. I just bought it about 6 months ago so I don't have a lot of experience with it.
I will turn the keys and the engine will start to turn but will ONLY fire up once I step on the gas pedal AND turn the key. Once the engine is running, I HAVE TO keep my foot on the gas. I can rev it up as high as I want and can sit there for as long as I want and it appears to work just fine... BUT... when I take my foot off the gas pedal it just dies instantly.
Any ideas?
I just moved to Hawaii and I don't have a mechanic I can trust so I just wanted to see if I could seek some guidance on here first and maybe save some money. THANK YOU!
