...Freight) to $80? Basic to Electronic never used one. Going to verify which ball bearings are giving me the chirp (idler, water pump, alternator, etc) before I start replacing something. Probably won't need one again, so I'm going to give it away to the next mechanic that does work for me. just like advice as to whether it's worth it to pay $5, $25, . . . $80 for it.
 
Screwdriver of sufficient length placed against the part and up to your ear is all you need
 
NEVER and i mean NEVER buy a tool from harbor freight if you want it too last longer than a couple weeks. find one at a reputable tool manufacturer it might be 30-40 bucks but it will be well worth it believe me
