Any tips for a BMW 318i E30 1989 owner?

i just bought myself one and i was wondering if there was anything i should stay from, any problems they tend to have?

anything i can do to get its acceleration a bit quicker

I love this car, but as its my first car, i wanna do it up, any oppinions on what to do and what looks good on them

its my pride and joy so nothing to dramatic modification wise
yeah i agree with you BMW but i love it, its my first car so i dont need much power, i can afford to fix that, any reccomendations on how to get more power out of it
 
Any mods you make, make sure you have a deep pocket. Parts a very expensive. Start with a good exhaust system and a cool air intake system.
