Hey, I just started listing some items on eBay yesterday and none of them have bids nor watchers, which is quite discouraging. Can anyone spare some success tips for selling items on eBay? Basically, I want what everyone else does- bids. I'm looking for any tips to increase bids, traffic to my listing, attract prospective buyers, search engine optimization, selling standpoint/perspective, language phrasing, ANYTHING helps. I really would like to cash in some stuff that's just collecting dust, but I can't if I don't get any bids. Any input will be appreciated. Thanks :).

Make sure your photos are good quality and clearly show what you are selling, put all the information you can like what it's made of and why you're selling it, don't overprice it, be polite to everyone for good ratings, register your stuff about early evening so that people can have little bidding wars in the last few minutes, and make sure you package and address the package properly to avoid damage or being lost.
EDIT: Unless the stuff you're selling is in real demand, you can't expect to have watchers or bids that soon. Also make sure your P&P costs are reasonable and your explanation is easy to read and understandable.
