okay so im basically just really stressing
yesterday, my small bichon frise dog (about 15lb) ate 8 or 9 raisins. After realising she ate them i googled and realised raisins can kill dogs as they cause kidney failure - as little as 7 can be lethal!!
we called a vet straight away as all of the itnernet sites said to induce vomitting immediately but the vet said to just leave it and see if she gets any symptoms and call back if she does
its been 25 hours and my dog has had no symptoms whatsoever - and thats whats worrying me :S she hasnt puked up the raisins or had diarreha, she hasnt tremors or loss of appetite which is good though
but im worried than the raisins have now been digested and thus are attaking her kideys as we speak
there are meant to be no symptoms for acute renal kidney failure until its too late and becomes irriversable ?!
any professionals opinions on this?!
thanks
