I have a Net10 Samsung t401g, and it is a pretty nice phone. Here lately, I've been finding out that it can do a lot more things that Net10's previous phones couldn't handle, like playing MP3's, video's, among other things. It's not that powerful, but it works.

I've also been finding out here lately that I can download games onto my cellphone. They have to be either .JAR or .JAD files, and they have to fit the resolution of my phone (which is 176x220) or be close to it. Looking for some games the other day, I found the original Final Fantasy, and it can play on my phone. I was happy that I could play a classic game on my cell phone.

...Or so I thought.

The game started up just fine, the music plays and it all looks good. Then I enter one of the towns, and the sprites keep disappearing. I won't be able to see the text boxes, the characters or NPC's, but the background is still there and everything. I can enter my menu just fine too. I thought that I could ignore this little problem, the sprites and everything will come back after a while (they'll disappear, reappear, disappear, reappear, etc). I decided to carry on and head to the world map, thinking that everything else would go just fine.

...Or so I thought.

A random battle occurs, the screen does the typical screen dissolve thing, and the game... stops. I assume it crashed, as it's been sitting there for about 15 minutes and hasn't done a thing. I can exit the game and try again, but it'll always crash on random battles.

Anyone have any solution for me? Is there anything I can do that will help me play the rest of the game? Or is my cell phone simply not powerful enough to play this game?

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
