Well, you dont want to get one from a website. They would have to ship it, and this can be very stressful on the animal. It is great that you want to adopt! There are turtles in need of a good home that have been neglected by previous owners, so you will be saving a life. First I would try to call around to local animal shelters and see if they either have one, or know where you could find one. Look online for a reptile rescue in your area, or state.
