am trying to burn backup blue-rays using your software and an LG blueray internal drive burner. I insert the blueray, a message then come on the screen saying slysoft is scanning the disk, after, I right click on the slysoft fox head to download to haddisk, and sometimes my movies download in french rather than english and sometimes the movie downloads in the wrong order (starts in middle of movie) and other times, it downloads just fine. I always have to go into sub folders on my desktop "stream" just to watch the blueray movies. I do have NERO'S best software to pair with your slysoft hd but I think I'm just not doing any of this the proper way, I would like to have just one folder titled "movies" on my desktop that once opened has all my movie titles in it, this way I don't have to access 3 subfolders. I also would like to know why sometimes the audio doesn't come out in the right language (set on region 1). I just do not understand this. I tried to look up how-to's on youtube and it said to instead click on rip to image but that didn't work at all and when download completed successfully using this route an error appeared when I went to play the movie! if someone could hit me up on mesenger and help walk me through this.HELP!!! THANKS!

Dear robert fischbach,

Thank you for your e-mail.

Simply put, if you have been viewing "ripped" bluray content with success then
you've been lucky since usually the wrong language will play. Your issue is
not one for AnyDVD but is player software specific or your methodology.

some background:

The Cyberlink team erased PowerDVD Ultra's capability to play hard drive
images or rips some time ago.
And we assume they were threatened by the entertainment industry.

The same is true for other BluRay player software products as well like
WinDVD. Trying to play a ripped BluRay now will fail and often plays the wrong
language.

Please create an image of the BD ("Rip to image"). Then mount this image with
the Virtual CloneDrive and play that virtual drive with PowerDVD Ultra or
WinDVD.

In case you haven't used the Virtual CloneDrive yet:

Make sure you have the latest version since newer versions of PowerDVD may not
work on XP with VCD.

You can use the Virtual CloneDrive to emulate a CD/DVD/HD DVD/BD drive out of
the image file stored on your hard drive, for example use the Virtual Drive to

preview optical media before burning them to a blank.

To insert a .dvd file into the Virtual Drive, just go to the Virtual Drive
drive letter in the Explorer, right click onto it and choose "Virtual Clone
Drive / Mount".
Then choose the location of the .dvd file and press OK.
Now the drive letter with the Virtual Drive just behaves like a normal
CD/DVD/HD DVD/BD drive.

Once installed, you'll find a documentation at Start-All Programs-Elaborate
Bytes-Virtual CloneDrive-Help

Now, if Nero allows direct playing of "ripped" bluray then contact them and
ask how to select the right language. AnyDVD cannot and will not touch
anything in the film container. What you get is 100% movie w/o protections,
spy-ware, etc. and all languages of course.

"region 1" is for DVDs only. AnyDVD may ask you to tell it which region the
BluRay disc has, A,B,C or D but if you play only from "A" this is not an issue
for AnyDVD,

Many of our customers use Total Media Theater to play ripped BDs.

Kind regards,
Frank Hollander
