Bought used 84,000 o3 libery, I've put 20, miles on it, 1/2 hiway , made round trip to Austin, tx from Jxn, ms...smoooth, loved it..AND THen..trans. started slipping, interior lights will not go off, (tried everything) ,won't go in reverse now, I know, I know..trans,...but JEEPERS, I had 3 Hondas, 2 corvettes, camaro, ASTRO VAN , ...never spent more than 500.00 on a repair, (brakes for Honda)150,000-230,000 miles on Hondas,...AND NOW i read that 80,000 is "about right for transmission...on JEEP?, Of course its paid for, drove great for one year pretty much, and now I,m kikin myself for not buyingHONDA crv, same price was about 3 years older than Jeep tho, but SO what, if I could drive for 200,000 miles...anybody else get ripped????
 
not yet but i will moving with a uhaul in tow from chicago to san francisco end of march but I m going to have the whole thing checked before i leave
