I've only read few reviews. Can anyone offer their opinions on it? Spoilers don't bother me.

Thanks!

I have read the first two books. I read the first book after I finished the last HP book in July 2007. I have book three but I have not gotten around to reading it yet but hope to read it soon. When I read the first book it took me probably about 2 or 3 chapters to really get into it. I was right into it when I read book 2 and read it in about a week. I think the author Kaza has created a very imaginative and creative world that though can be compared to some other fantasy books out there; it is also able to stand on its own.

I think for those who enjoy books like Harry Potter they will enjoy Erec Rex as well. Erec Rex is a 12 year old boy who sleeps in the small laundry room but not because he’s forced too or being neglected. He does it of his own accord because he and his family are living in a very cramped tiny apartment, they move often. Erec felt he had more privacy so to speak in the laundry room. His family includes his 5 siblings and his mother. Erec is adopted and so are his siblings. All the kids have oddities about them. The first book revolves around his mother disappearing one day and him going to find her. Erec often gets what he calls couldy thoughts and he cant help but do what the cloudy thoughts ask/want him to do.

The series is going to be 8 books and three are out already. The fourth book will be out August 2010.
