Anyone have a 2008 Kia Sportage and have some positive feedback?

I have gotten alot of negative responses. Consumer Guide and Edmund's give it a pretty good rating but when I poised the question in Yahoo questions, all I got was bad feedback. Would you recommend it? How bout the mileage, how's it go in snow, any problems with the electrical system? I test drove the AWD (fully loaded) a couple of weeks ago and loved everything about it. I was contemplating buying it until I received the negative feedback from Yahoo questions.

They are great cars. I have driven the old and the new ones.

In the 90's, Kia's and Hyundai's were bad cars. That gave them a bad reputation. From 2000-2002, they started getting much better. Now they are great.

They still have a bad reputation even though they are now great cars.

Go ahead and get the car. I never heard of any problems with the Kia Sportage.
