Anyone have an idea what cartoon/show this was from back in the late 80's/Early 90's?

I dont remember if it was a cartoon or not, But i remember it was some type of robot fighting this green blob monster, The robot shrunk the monster or he grew really huge and stepped on the green blob and twisted his foot on him, then wiped the monster off his foot on the sidewalk or street. Any idea what show or cartoon this was from?
